Huron County 4-H hosts Fall Family Social & Silent Auction

HURON COUNTY - Over 100 4-H adult and teen leaders, youth members, their families, and Friends of 4-H attended the Huron County 4-H Fall Family Social on Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Bad Axe Free Methodist Church. The program began with an all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, homemade desserts and refreshments. Over $700 was raised through the 4th annual 4-H Silent Auction fundraiser. Huron County 4-H members were recognized for their work in project areas, competitive activities, and leadership roles in the Huron County 4-H Youth Program. Adult 4-H leaders received recognition for countless hours of dedication and work volunteering for the development of youth. Thanks went to the individuals and businesses that supported Huron Coutny 4-H financially and otherwise.

• HORSE PROGRAMS PARTICIPANTS:

- Alexandria Camp, Alyssa Elenbaum, Kelsie Gross, Amanda Hind, Trisha Kuhl, Cameron Lloyd and Marissa Schave were recognized for their participation in the 2012 State 4-H Horse Show in Lansing.
