HURON COUNTY — The investigation in the claim State Rep. Kurt Damrow made a false police report has been closed, according to a press release from David S. Leyton, Genesee County Prosecutor.

The matter was assigned to Leyton by the Michigan Attorney General after the Tuscola County Prosecutor recused himself from the case.
